What The Sourcing Actually Found

Where no verifiable open benchmark exists, we say so — instead of publishing a number that doesn’t hold up.

Offer Acceptance Rate — definition · Global (NACE standard)
NACE Professional Standards 2024, p. 68 (confirmed verbatim): OAR = accepted offers / (accepted + declined offers) × 100.
Ashby OAR dataset — methodology only
Ashby: over 230,000 applications (2021–2024) underlie the published methodology (landing page open and verified). The benchmark tables themselves sit behind an email gate and are NOT used in this build.
Gap finding
Gap finding: no open, official, cross-industry benchmark for Offer Acceptance Rate was identified beyond the vendor reports (SmartRecruiters/Ashby) above.

F4 · Definition trap
Vacancies, openings, and offers are three different metrics
“Job openings” (a stock, measured at a point in time), “vacancies” (used loosely as a synonym in some national statistics), and “offers extended/accepted” (a recruiting-funnel flow metric) measure different things. Offer Acceptance Rate on this site uses the NACE definition — accepted ÷ (accepted + declined) × 100 — not a vacancy-fill rate.
